Over the years I have fallen in love with and become more and more intrigued by my Finnish heritage. I have always had a deep fascination with the country and a genuine love of the food, architecture, fashion and design, but most recently I have found I am wanting to know more.
Recently I decided to try my hand at Finnish cuisine and have discovered how much I love it! I am now determined to try and cook every Finnish dish I have ever tasted and include some of my favourite dishes in my diet on a regular basis. I am also keen to try out new Finnish culinary trends.
As a long time fan of Finnish style and design I have a genuine interest in learning more about its background. Marimekko makes a regular appearance in my home and no doubt will do so on my blog. I am also an avid fan of Finnish glassware and china ~ iittala and Arabia are my ABSOLUTE faves!
So on my journey to discover more about my background and all things Finnish I hope you will be half as captivated as I am.
